Vacancy Rolling Stock Technician

What do I need to know/have to start as a rolling stock technician:

Language: Dutch or English or French.

Electrical/Electronic:

• I can read and understand an electrical schemata
• I can measure voltage, current, and resistance
• I can measure a battery and detect faults
• I know how an electric motor works and can analyze faults
• I can measure circuit boards and detect malfunctions
• I can replace sensors
• I can read faults with the computer

Mechanical:

• I can perform maintenance on the engine (replace air filter, fuel filter, spark plugs)
• I can work on pistons, camshaft, and valves
• I perform maintenance on the brakes, steering column, and clutch
• I can check the air conditioning system
• I can perform repairs on the supporting structure, suspensions, and chassis
• I can replace and connect hydraulic hoses and fittings
• I can replace and connect pneumatic pipes and components
• I can perform small welding jobs with a semi-automatic welder

Some experience required

No driver's licence required

Dutch: goed
French: goed
English: goed
