Function description
Job Description
- Compounding plastic regrind (PP / HDPE / PS) into granulate
- The operator is responsible for the proper operation of 2 extrusion lines
- Collecting regrind from the warehouse and transporting it to the extrusion line's mixing silo using a forklift
- Adding regrind, pigment, and additives into the grinder
- Setting parameters of the extrusion lines and filters (temperatures, screw and conveyor speeds, pressures, degassing, etc.) to ensure good output (quality and quantity)
- Continuously monitoring quality and adjusting as needed
- Transporting the produced granulate, either into big bags or unloading into large mixing silos
- Registering the used materials and produced granulate in the logbook
- Cleaning the installation and maintaining a clean work environment
- Independent work in a noisy production environment (hearing protection required)
