Function description
What does a day of a maintenance mechanic look like?
As a maintenance mechanic, you are responsible for the preventive and corrective maintenance of machines and installations. Your focus is on the mechanical part of the tools and installations. During preventive maintenance, you follow the maintenance plan to prevent defects, and during corrective maintenance, you fix defects as quickly as possible.
You have broad mechanical knowledge complemented by pneumatic and hydraulic know-how.
Whether working in a team or independently, you can inspect and replace parts. You work accurately and have extensive material knowledge. Additionally, you have some experience with welding.
A plus: basic electrical knowledge.
