Function description
What does a day in the life of a welder-mechanic look like?
As a welder-mechanic, you will be deployed to various clients to perform welding tasks and mechanical maintenance. Welding involves joining metal pieces according to a plan, with or without a welding procedure, by applying heat and/or pressure at the joint. There are various welding techniques, and if necessary, you use filler material for the connection. As a welder, you deliver either single pieces or series of products.
We do not have enough welding assignments to keep full-time welders occupied. Therefore, we expect every welder to also have basic to good mechanical knowledge to perform maintenance tasks.
