What does a day in the life of an electromechanic look like?

As an electromechanic, you solve electrical and mechanical problems on machine parks in production companies as well as carry out workshop tasks, such as in machine construction. You are responsible for the preventive and curative maintenance of machines. In preventive maintenance, you perform proactive maintenance on installations and machines to prevent damage, failure, defects, and inconvenience at a later time. Curative maintenance involves replacing or repairing a defective part when a malfunction occurs. Your pneumatic and hydraulic knowledge/experience can assist you in carrying out maintenance tasks. As a senior technician, you understand the structure of a PLC system and can thus detect and troubleshoot errors. Programming a PLC is not expected from a technician. You will be deployed to various clients with diverse activities for short or long assignments.
